iSpiice organises some of the best summer volunteering opportunities in India for people who want to try something different and use their skills to improve the lives of rural people. While the Indian economy is growing rapidly at the moment, there are still millions of underprivileged women and children who are yet to benefit from the country’s recent economic boost.
That is why organisations like iSpiice work hard to provide support and education to some of the most poverty-stricken people in the country. Join us this summer, and take part in one or more of our programs that start every Sunday and run for between two and twelve weeks.
India has a rich history, and it’s home to some of the world’s most impressive architecture and ancient sites. So, people who decide to volunteer with iSpiice will encounter many opportunities to help local families while also tickling their cultural taste buds. We arrange add-on tours for volunteers who want to take part that will ensure you see the sights and sounds of the country and visit all those essential tourist spots. If you wish to travel to the Golden Temple in Amritsar or the Taj Mahal in Agra, arrange your booking through our team. We also offer trekking tours through the Himalayas and much more. The iSpiice squad understands that volunteering is the most vital part of your trip, but we also know how to help you unwind on the weekends.
Our volunteer programs are open to students, couples, individuals, and anyone who feels they can bring something to the table. You will have the opportunity to join hands with local Indian people and learn more about their way of life while teaching them new skills that could help to improve their prospects. Some of our most popular projects include:
Volunteers just need to consider which programs appeal most to them and then contact us for more information and bookings. When you arrive in India, an iSpiice coordinator will meet you and take you to the volunteer house that will act as your base during the visit. You will then receive a full schedule of your activities, and our staff will drive you to and from each placement to ensure your time spent in the country goes as smoothly as possible. If you encounter any stumbling blocks or you have any issues along the way, there is always someone on hand to offer advice and support. We employ professionals with a lot of local knowledge to ensure they can deal with any problems promptly and efficiently.
All we ask is that all volunteers have a good command of the English language and a willingness to learn new skills. You need to have excellent organisational skills and lots of self-motivation to ensure you make the most of your experience. Cultural sensitivity is a must, and we love welcoming enthusiastic people into our organisation. Just don’t make the mistake of treating our volunteer opportunities as a holiday. There will be lots of time to see the sights and relax or unwind, but when it’s time to work; you need to give it your all. The Indian people you meet along the way are welcoming and thankful for your assistance. So, be sure to try your best to offer any help and support you can. Our staff will always point you in the right direction.
Whether you want to spend two weeks or three months volunteering in India this summer, iSpiice provides some of the best opportunities anywhere in the world. We have long-established programs that make a real difference to Indian women and children, and we’ve already helped to improve the lives of many hundreds of people. Join us, and let’s spread the love together and get these people the education they deserve.
For more information about our volunteering opportunities in rural India, inquire via this site or give us a call using the details on our contact page. There is always someone around to answer questions, alleviate concerns, and set the record straight. Regardless of your background; you have the potential to change the course of many lives along with our team at iSpiice, and we’d love to help you along the way. Some people spend their summer lazing around on a beach getting a suntan – others want to do something a little more worthwhile.
